Expeditors Ho Chi Minh City is recruiting Business Development Manager as below: Job Description Department: Ocean Position Reports To: District Manager/ Branch Manager Job Purpose: Manage Sales, Transition & Implementation, Account Management & Integrated Solutions, Lead the team to implement effective sales strategies to achieve financial targets, achieve new logos, expand market share, and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Retain ownership of key house accounts, improve service levels, and identify new business opportunities. Deliver integrated solutions that provide greater customer value than any single Expeditors product or service. Collaborate across branches, regions, products, and services, working closely with Expeditors’ stakeholders (District & Regional teams, Sponsors, T&I, and Customer Service). Responsibilities: Solution Development Design and construct multi-product solutions to meet customer needs. Build business analytics and value propositions to validate solutions. Maintain a matrix and repository of all possible multi-product solutions. Collaborate with districts to ensure operational readiness for solution execution. Customer & District Support Support customers and districts through solution development and marketing. Enhance Expeditors’ position as a leading supply chain and logistics provider. Assist in designing operational infrastructure (e.g., qualifying service providers, special warehousing requirements). Sales Leadership Build and manage the District Sales Team; recruit, train, and motivate. Develop and deploy sales infrastructure and drive the District Sales Program. Ensure strategic use of Sales Automation tools (e.g., TeamSell). Join sales calls, review contributions, and support major presentations. Grow personal revenue and identify opportunities within existing accounts. Product & Service Development Improve customer supply chain models, processes, and network diagrams. Collaborate with product leaders to develop customized solutions. Act as a centralized source for product-related solutions. Support sales teams with training and program recommendations. Engage directly with customers to develop new programs and initiatives. Continuous Improvement Seek efficiency and cost-effectiveness in procedures and services. Spearhead problem resolution beyond local branch when needed. Drive product initiatives and blitz programs to build service offerings. Core Expectations Ethical business practices, commitment, and attention to detail. Revenue growth within the region. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications or higher in a relevant field (Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, etc.). Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain. Minimum 5 years’ experience in managerial level Strong knowledge of Expeditors’ policies, procedures, products, services, and systems. Solid business acumen and market/competition awareness. Proven team management and motivational skills. Extensive experience in international supply chain, logistics, and warehouse management. Strong PC skills and MS Office including required Expeditors systems. Proficiency in analytical tools, mathematics, data analysis, and visualization (e.g., Visio, Power BI). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and pride in performance.
