  • Experience working as freelance or self-employed professionals seeking new career opportunities, challenges, and ways to provide innovative solutions for clients.
  • Extensive industry experience in supply chain management, customs, goods declarations, and regulatory compliance is essential.
  • Strong client engagement skills and proactive business development mindset.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), LinkedIn research tools, ChatGPT AI, and customs-related software platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, and project management skills, with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within teams.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our leadership team, progressing towards a partnership designate role. This strategic position involves close collaboration with senior management and key clients, leading business development initiatives that expand our service offerings in customs, trade compliance, and logistics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead development of trade improvement strategies with a focus on supply chain and compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Design and deliver engaging promotions, presentations, and training programs aligned with client needs.
  • Manage customs strategies, temporary exports/re-imports, RGR, CBAM compliance, and origin status verification.
  • Support client queries, ensuring timely and expert responses to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct advanced research on customs updates and regulatory changes, sharing knowledge within the team.
  • Support sales and operations through expert consultancy in logistics and customs compliance.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with advanced proficiency and advanced LinkedIn research for client engagement and reporting.
  • Employ AI-enhanced tools such as ChatGPT alongside customs software to optimize workflow and client support.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills to navigate complex customs requirements effectively.
  • Develop and coordinate training, promotional materials, and presentations customized to client needs.
  • Work independently and proactively within a collaborative team environment.
