QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering degree associated with electrical power systems and/or electrical engineering. Other education levels will be considered if relevant experience is proven.
  • Proven track record and experience in a similar role for more than 8 years.
  • Candidates with experience of working directly for TSO/DSOs or other transmission related parties are preferred. Familiar with project development.
  • Good understanding of public tenders, interconnection process and agreements.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Proactive, autonomous and results-driven.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Available to travel as per projects/opportunities needs.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor market trends and sector dynamics to support strategic planning and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate investment prospects in transmission lines, renewable generation, and battery storage systems.
  • Identify and engage with strategic partners, clients, regulatory bodies, energy market operators, and local administrations.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal and external advisory teams—including engineering, legal, financial, and construction experts—to advance infrastructure opportunities aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Support the development of commercial and technical proposals, particularly under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) frameworks and similar procurement models.
  • Participate in the evaluation, negotiation, and closing of M&A transactions in the energy infrastructure sector.
  • Identify key risks in transactions and contribute to mitigation strategies for internal review and decision-making.
  • Negotiate agreements with partners, clients, and subcontractors to secure favourable terms that support project feasibility.
  • Prepare, review, and ensure the quality of proposals, tenders, and related documentation.
  • Supervise demand, revenue, cost, and investment estimations, whether developed internally or outsourced.
  • Conduct technical analysis of bids and offers, forecasting future costs and revenues related to asset operation and maintenance.
  • Present investment opportunities and project updates to executive committees and support corporate governance processes.
  • Manage bids budgets, resource planning, schedules, and invoice tracking to ensure timely, efficient and cost-effective submissions.
  • Lead or support permitting and grid connection processes, including securing land rights and negotiating rights of way, to ensure all development requirements for energy projects are met.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.
