Thorite, part of the Flowtech Group, is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to grow our footprint across West Yorkshire. This is a field-based sales role working closely with our Bradford branch, where your focus will be on building strong customer relationships, winning new business and increasing our market share in Fluid Power solutions – hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and compressed air.
We are ideally seeking candidates with a technical sales background in pneumatics or fluid power, but we’re equally open to commercially-minded professionals with strong experience selling into industrial or engineering markets.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop and deliver sales strategies that drive growth and profitability
  • Identify and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships
  • Work with internal sales, technical and procurement teams to support complex projects
  • Manage key accounts while continuously developing new business across the region
  • Take ownership of budgets, quotations and customer engagement
