Thorite, part of the Flowtech Group, is seeking a driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager to expand our presence across the North East. Working closely with our Newcastle upon Tyne/North Shields branch, you’ll be out in the field, building relationships and driving growth in Fluid Power solutions – including hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and compressed air.
This is not an office job – it’s a customer-facing role where your ability to spot opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and secure long-term business will define your success.

THE ROLE:

  • Develop and implement account strategies to deliver revenue and margin growth
  • Convert leads into long-term partnerships with persuasive proposals and solutions
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver projects and manage quotations
  • Build strong relationships with procurement, maintenance, and engineering stakeholders
