REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven B2B IT/MSP business development experience
  • Professionally represent our business at C-suite and senior manager level
  • Cold and warm calling experience
  • Proven track record in contribution to increased client base, business development and winning new business
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients (up to senior management levels, using appropriate and professional language
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out tasks to completion within parameters and instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must follow all integrated ISO management systems, be aware of and comply with all ISO data security systems at all times.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
  • Must be able to talk, listen and be clear and concise in all telephone and written communications
  • Must complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks as required by your work including timesheets, expenses, ticket notes and all peripheral administrative tasks for this role in a clear and accurate manner
  • Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; remain productive during slow times, be able to multitask effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As part of the Sales & Marketing Team, the Business Development Manager will coordinate and contribute to business development activity.
This role includes a full range of business development including but not limited to; support, compiling and reporting on KPIs and managing the company’s external business development interfaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Business Development Manager has several areas of responsibility the majority of tasks are as follows:

  • Manage and further develop the full consultative sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Create and manage new business sales strategies in conjunction with the sales team/directors.
  • Research and identify potential new organisations and decision-makers within a defined target audience online and via social media.
  • Nurture and build relationships with potential new clients via cold calling, targeted networking, LinkedIn and other means.
  • Manage the LinkedIn Sales Navigation processes and campaigns.
  • Warm call marketing data to nurture and build relationships, alongside ongoing marketing activity.
  • Manage any inbound enquiries about our product and service offerings.
  • Build and manage an effective sales pipeline for yourself and Directors, as appropriate.
  • Arranging appointments between leads and FluidOne Chorley representatives or yourself.
  • Fully develop and present proposals to potential new clients.
  • Regular reviews of the sales processes to tune these where appropriate and to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop, maintain and report on KPIs as required to provide information of relevance to the directors to facilitate new business development decisions.
  • Ensure data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM system.
  • Contribute to the ongoing competitor analysis with the marketing team.
  • Work with marketing to develop additional sales materials as appropriate.
  • Attend specified events identified in the marketing plan as and when required.
