Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality and a flair for building lasting relationships? Pullman & ibis Adelaide Sales & Marketing HUB is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive business growth across key market segments including wholesale, inbound, retail travel, corporate, and MICE. This is a full time, 12 months Maternity Leave Contract, that could catapult your Accor career.

KEY TASKS AT A GLANCE:

  • Manage and grow top-tier accounts.
  • Develop new business across all segments, identifying high-value opportunities for the hotel and region.
  • Collaborate with national and property-based account managers to maximise group-wide performance.
  • Lead presentations and negotiations with consortia, travel agents, and conference organisers.
  • Drive yield management strategies to ensure long-term profitability.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting and quotations
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales calls, Site inspections and industry events.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Operations to align on strategy and deliver exceptional service.
