Description

We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our Security Services within our Events business, spanning stadiums, arenas, festivals, sporting events, and major venues across the UK. This role is pivotal in expanding G4S’ footprint in high-profile, complex environments, where security, safety and service excellence are paramount.
With a strong new business focus, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and securing new client contracts, developing tailored security solutions, and leading the commercial negotiation process to close high value deals.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the UK Events Sector.
  • Sell security solutions to organisers of events, festivals, sports fixtures, concerts and exhibitors.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Develop bespoke security solutions in collaboration with operational teams to meet the unique needs of each event.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and bids aligned with client objectives and industry regulations.
  • Lead tender responses, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to shape sales strategy
  • Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to ensure seamless mobilisation of new contracts
  • Represent G4S Events at trade shows, industry conferences, and client shows
