Goose + Berry is a leading luxury catering company based in Maidenhead, delivering exceptional weddings, social celebrations, and corporate events across London and the Home Counties.
We’re seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to take the lead in growing our client base, securing high-value event contracts, growing our London market share and forging strong, long-term relationships. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on winning new business, smashing sales targets, and playing a pivotal part in the continued growth of a premium events brand.
Salary: £32,000 basic + excellent commission structure (OTE £50,000)

  • Proven track record in sales or business development within the events, hospitality, or luxury service industries
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and maximise ROI
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Resilient, results-driven, and confident when engaging with clients at all levels
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and converting opportunities

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across weddings, social, and corporate events
  • Generate and convert leads into confirmed bookings, consistently achieving sales targets
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and market presence
  • Negotiate confidently with prospective and existing clients to maximise profitability
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and venues
  • Manage and maintain a strong sales pipeline, from initial enquiry to contract signing
  • Conduct face-to-face client meetings and presentations at a senior level
  • Collaborate with the event delivery team to ensure seamless handover and exceptional service for every client
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts and performance reports, ensuring all KPIs are met or exceeded
