Description

GVO Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in securing and growing commercial cleaning contracts. This is a key role within our company, focused on identifying new opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and driving sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively source and win new commercial cleaning contracts across London and the South East.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop tailored proposals, bids, and presentations to secure contracts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure seamless mobilisation and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
  • Consistently meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.

About you

  • Demonstrable success in business development within the commercial cleaning industry (essential).
  • Strong understanding of cleaning services, client requirements, and service delivery.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into long-term contracts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially aware with a results-driven approach.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
