About Avant
Avant is Australia’s largest doctor-owned mutual, supporting more than 90,000 healthcare professionals. We understand the increasing complexities medical practices face and have built a comprehensive suite of products and services designed to make running a practice easier, safer, and more efficient.
Avant Practice Solutions delivers a holistic offering of technology, practice management, and virtual administration services. As we expand our value proposition, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our mission to support doctors in delivering excellence in healthcare.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced B2B sales professional to join our growing team. In this role, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, nurture strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and help deliver growth across our Technology and Services division.
You will work in a collaborative, dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact doctors, practices, and patient outcomes. If you’re motivated by making a real difference and want to be part of a supportive team in a stable, fast-growing industry—this is the role for you.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in primary care, pharmacy, allied health, or dental sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in solution-based or consultative selling.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with healthcare stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of general practice operations, including Medicare billing, accreditation, and PIP (highly regarded).
  • Interest in healthcare technologies and Software as a Service (SaaS) solution.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Enthusiasm for improving healthcare through innovation and service excellence.
We have a diverse and connected work environment where your contribution and ideas will be valued and respected and make a real difference to the lives of others. We offer a range of benefits and opportunities to enable you learn and grow in your career.
