Description
Description Role Overview Holbrook Life is expanding its external business development platform to unlock premium, recurring revenue across our portfolio of luxury wellness communities. At the center of this growth is a powerful — and currently underutilized — asset: our HydroWorx hydrotherapy pools. Each Holbrook community is equipped with state-of-the-art aquatic therapy environments designed for recovery, rehabilitation, and performance. Meanwhile, physical therapy clinics, sports medicine groups, athletic programs, and wellness providers in our markets are actively seeking access to warm-water therapy — often without facilities that meet our standard. The Business Development Manager is responsible for converting this demand into high-value, contracted partnerships that drive utilization, revenue, and brand presence. This is a field-driven, relationship-led role focused on securing hydrotherapy partnerships while also expanding Holbrook’s external wellness ecosystem through Holbrook Club relationships, community partnerships, and SteadySteps distribution. This role is designed for someone who is energized by being in the field, building trust with decision-makers, and turning conversations into long-term, contract-based revenue. Requirements Core Responsibilities Hydrotherapy Partnership Development (Primary Focus) Establish and grow recurring hydrotherapy partnerships with: Physical therapy and rehabilitation practices Orthopedic and sports medicine groups Athletic trainers and performance coaches High school, collegiate, and club sports programs Wellness and recovery providers You will: Develop and deliver a compelling, premium value proposition for each partner segment Build community-level pipelines that maximize pool utilization and contract volume Lead all phases of the partnership lifecycle, including pricing, proposals, contracting, onboarding, and renewals Strategic Revenue Partnerships In addition to hydrotherapy, you will expand Holbrook’s external wellness footprint by: Growing Holbrook Club partnerships with local neighborhoods, HOAs, and organizations Supporting the distribution and adoption of SteadySteps fitness and mobility programs Identifying new revenue streams tied to active aging, recovery, and lifestyle wellness Collaborating with Spa, WELLFit, Hospitality, and Operations to ensure seamless, brand-aligned integration Field Sales & Relationship Management This is a hands-on, in-market role. You will: Maintain an active presence across all assigned Holbrook communities Conduct on-site tours, HydroWorx demonstrations, and partner meetings Build lasting referral relationships with healthcare leaders, athletic directors, and coaches Deliver a white-glove partner experience through consistent communication and follow-through Reporting & Performance Management You will: Maintain accurate pipelines, partner records, and contract tracking Provide weekly reports covering leads, active negotiations, and closed business Coordinate with General Managers and Operations to align scheduling and capacity Present monthly performance and revenue results to senior leadership Qualifications Proven success in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development Experience in healthcare, physical therapy, sports performance, fitness, or wellness strongly preferred Exceptional relationship-building and consultative selling skills Confident negotiating, presenting, and closing multi-month or recurring contracts Comfortable traveling between communities in a field-based role Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven Passion for recovery, wellness, and elevated service experiences Compensation Competitive base salary Uncapped commission 10% on all new contracts 5% on renewals Additional performance incentives available Why This Role Matters Hydrotherapy is one of Holbrook Life’s most powerful — and currently untapped — revenue engines. By activating strategic partnerships with physical therapy, sports medicine, and wellness organizations, this role converts premium wellness infrastructure into recurring, high-margin revenue while expanding Holbrook’s presence as a leader in recovery and performance. This position doesn’t just sell — it builds the external wellness ecosystem that will define Holbrook’s next phase of growth.
