The right candidate will not only understand the language and nuances of hotel operations—they’ll talk the talk with fluency and credibility, backed by a strong network of industry contacts. A background in creative interior design is highly advantageous, particularly with a focus on bespoke, high-end environments. Passion and understanding for crafting memorable guest experiences through outstanding design is essential.
This person will bring strategic energy, strong relationship-building skills, and a natural flair for connecting with discerning hotel clients and private individuals alike.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Responsibilities

KEY PURPOSE

To develop and execute sales strategies within the hotel and private client sectors that directly contribute to the company’s revenue and reputation. This includes setting and achieving clear targets in collaboration with the Head of Business Development and senior management team, while identifying emerging market opportunities.

ACCOUNTABILITY

· Achievement or exceeding of agreed sales targets through the successful implementation of sales and marketing plans
· Delivery of successful new business, retention and referral rates
· High scores in customer feedback from analysis of feedback forms or surveys and less formal feedback from customers
· Negotiation of achievable project budgets with customers such that their efficient execution will enable profitability to meet or exceeds target
· Recognition by operational departments of the importance of the customer and of the sales department’s role and authority in meeting customer requirements
