Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client—a well-established and rapidly growing advertising agency based in Mississauga—for the position of Business Development Manager. This is a hybrid position, initially offered as a 6-month contract, with the potential to be extended or transitioned into a permanent role based on performance.
The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in the advertising, media, or marketing industry, with a strong track record of generating leads, closing deals, and building strategic relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to support agency growth across traditional and digital advertising services.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, brands, media partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop customized, integrated advertising solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, presentations, and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue and business development targets.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.
