Our client is a well-established Australian packaging manufacturer with operations across Australia. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities across Southeast Queensland. 

Offering a high degree of autonomy, you'll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule, working from home, in the field and from customer sites while growing your territory across Southeast Queensland.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will:

• Take ownership of a Southeast Queensland territory, driving revenue growth and increasing market share
• Identify, pursue and win new business through prospecting, networking, referrals and face-to-face customer engagement
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across manufacturing, industrial and commercial sectors
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and solution development through to negotiation, close and account growth
• Work autonomously, balancing your time between working from home, customer visits and business development activities
• Collaborate with operational and customer service teams to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional customer outcomes

 About You

To be successful, you will have:

·        Proven success in Business Development, Territory Management or B2B Sales

·        A genuine hunter mentality and passion for winning new business

·        Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

·        The ability to work autonomously and manage your own pipeline

·        A proactive, resilient, and results-driven approach

·        Packaging industry experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
