Job Description

Responsibilities

Your role is to identify and connect with the right type of prospects, setting the stage for the Projects and Onboarding team to step in. They’ll then engage with the prospects to understand their brief in detail and determine the most effective approach for successful delivery. A basic level of digital marketing understanding and experience is therefore a requirement for this role.

  • Implement the prospect outreach initiatives to maximise lead quality and conversion rates
  • You will need to research businesses and individuals (reference & tools provided) to identify key details about the business and their marketing requirements and extract contact information about decision-makers
  • You will additionally be provided access to our prospect CRM to work from, which will require nurturing, qualifying and cleansing
  • There is a significant amount of cold calling to reach the appropriate contacts in this role
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Operations) to align business development with company-wide priorities
  • Proactively identify collateral needed to support your activities and convert leads
  • Set up email flows to maintain a consistent level of contact with prospects beyond your in-person contact
  • Utilise the open and click through data from marketing emails to identify prospect interest
  • Create a presence in social media by engaging with contacts in forums, commenting on other posts and finding reasons to interact with people to tell them about the agency

Data Management

  • Track, manage and report on the new business sales pipeline, ensuring timely updates, clear forecasting and practical recommendations
  • Log new contacts and company details accurately in the CRM system
  • Record call outcomes, including positive leads or objections
  • Strategically analyse and action the data in a targeted manner to deliver optimal results
  • Provide insight and support to the wider sales team
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in the telemarketing approach

Marketing Support

  • Work with the inhouse brand team (Projects, Design, Studio) to support in the development of compelling marcoms for internal marketing communications and to drive awareness of the iCandy Design brand and generate leads
  • Be on the forefront of trends to ensure Marketing publish content that is topical, relevant and memorable
