Description

Within Canon Europe, the Imaging Supplies department is the business group responsible for the print paper and print media business.
As an Imaging Supplies Business Development Manager, you are the driver of Canon EMEA’s new business and volume growth, specifically for Cutsheet & High Speed Inkjet Media (paper and other print media for cutsheet toner, cutsheet inkjet & continuous feed inkjet printers).
In close collaboration with the Category Managers (responsible for procurement and product management), your main focus is to turn products and portfolio into sales propositions and sales opportunities by defining, developing and implementing sales focused instruments that effectively help our National Sales Organizations (NSO) to grow the business locally via new customers and growing volumes.
Canon’s broad product portfolio and the wide variety of customers and sales channels makes you interact with many BU’s across the Canon organization to align on and establish channel collaborations with Imaging Supplies in order to grow new business. Next to that you are directly involved in large, European, cross-NSO sales cycles and will also be engaging with Customers, Distributors and Resellers yourself.
You will also be responsible for defining and developing new media product propositions (including assortments & suppliers) for new printing technologies that Canon will introduce to the market in the upcoming years. This will be heavily focusing on the Commercial Printing (like Graphic Arts) & Industrial Printing segments for which Canon is building a strong and diverse portfolio of production printers, supporting customers in the their transition from analogue to digital printing. Based on your deep market knowledge and experience, you will perform market research with R&D, reference customers and potential suppliers to define and deliver strong new business propositions for print media.
Your main goal is to optimize all opportunities to expand in new business segments (get new customers) as well as increasing Canon’s share of wallet at existing customers.
