Description

DRIVE GROWTH. BUILD MEANINGFUL PARTNERSHIPS. SHAPE THE FUTURE OF HEALTHCARE.

Are you a relationship-driven professional with a passion for healthcare and innovation? I-MED Radiology is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to help us expand our market presence, grow our referrer base, and support the delivery of world-class diagnostic services across Australia.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a candidate with experience in business development, sales, or healthcare account management, who brings strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. You should be results-driven with a proven ability to grow accounts, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Ideally, you’ll also have familiarity with medical software such as RIS or PACS, experience in CPD event planning or stakeholder education, and proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our BDM, you’ll take the lead on local business development strategies to drive growth and increase market share. You’ll identify new opportunities, build strong relationships with healthcare providers, and play a key role in shaping our commercial and marketing direction both locally and nationally.
This is a dynamic, client-facing role where you’ll work cross-functionally with operations, clinical teams, and national stakeholders to improve referrer engagement and satisfaction

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Strategic Growth: Identify new business opportunities and referral pathways, collaborate with Sales & Marketing to align with national strategies, and monitor competitor activity to provide market insights.
  • Referrer Engagement: Build strong relationships with GPs, specialists, and allied health providers; organise events and networking; and support ongoing improvements to referral services and patient experience.
  • Performance & Insight: Track KPIs (referral volume, revenue, satisfaction), analyse trends to recommend strategy adjustments, and deliver data-driven reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, clinic leaders, and operational teams, and coordinate with national marketing, IT, and education departments on key initiatives.
