Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with current and potential customers. Works with sales and operations team to implement business development initiatives. Assist senior management in deal negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development projects. Tracking and reporting on the status of all proposal components. Establishing and maintaining on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems. Participating in activities needed to support the management functions of the team. Manage and coordinate special projects and events to advance key business goals. Consistently achieve and exceed quotas and goals. Conduct yourself professionally and represent Impact Floors in a positive manner. This position will cover all of North Carolina. Travel is required. ________________________________________ Competencies Comprehensive knowledge of all facets of the business development process. Solid financial, business and industry insights and consultative selling skills Well organized and methodical in how business is conducted Proven ability to create compelling written collateral in a concise manner Self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills Able to listen to, lead and influence senior management Enthusiastic about contributing to our growing business, its brand, processes and client base Established network of business contacts Strong negotiating skills. Requirements Education and Work Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Minimum 2-years sales/business development experience required. Ability to pass a background check and have less than 3 motor vehicle violations in the past 3 years. Must have reliable transportation, up to date auto insurance and valid driver’s license Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time. ________________________________________ Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times.
