Description:
Area Sales Manager - South
- South UK
- Global pump manufacturer – Industrial and Water utilities.
- Up to £55,000 basic salary
- Bonus OTE £65,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + Benefits
- Providing technical solutions to industrial and water utilities
- Field based position – Working from home or visiting customers.
- Account growth and solution sale focused.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering background or education – Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, any relevant background.
- Experience dealing with customers and clients from a range of sectors: Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, utilities, construction, Manufacturing, Industrial engineering, etc.
- Sales experience managing and growing accounts.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop New Business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the South East England territory.
- Maintain Relationships: Support and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure continued revenue growth.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential clients and sectors for expansion.
- Customer Engagement: Regularly visit customers to build strong relationships, explore new opportunities, and solicit inquiries and orders.
- CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage contacts, and report on sales forecasts.
- Competitive Strategy: Actively pursue competitor accounts while defending existing customer relationships.
- Sector Penetration: Target major sectors in the territory, focusing on end-users, OEMs, and contractors.
