Area Sales Manager - South

  • South UK
  • Global pump manufacturer – Industrial and Water utilities.
  • Up to £55,000 basic salary
  • Bonus OTE £65,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + Benefits
  • Providing technical solutions to industrial and water utilities
  • Field based position – Working from home or visiting customers.
  • Account growth and solution sale focused.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Engineering background or education – Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, any relevant background.
  • Experience dealing with customers and clients from a range of sectors: Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, utilities, construction, Manufacturing, Industrial engineering, etc.
  • Sales experience managing and growing accounts.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a role.

  • Maintain Relationships: Support and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure continued revenue growth.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential clients and sectors for expansion.
  • Customer Engagement: Regularly visit customers to build strong relationships, explore new opportunities, and solicit inquiries and orders.
  • CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage contacts, and report on sales forecasts.
  • Competitive Strategy: Actively pursue competitor accounts while defending existing customer relationships.
  • Sector Penetration: Target major sectors in the territory, focusing on end-users, OEMs, and contractors.
