About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager, Insurance to join our team at RHB Bank. In this role, you will focus on developing Banca Commercial for the Penang region while supporting business growth across SME, commercial, and transactional banking segments in the Northern Region. You will work closely with bankers, agencies, and customers to strengthen partnerships, drive referrals, and expand our insurance business footprint. What you will be doing Focus on developing Banca Commercial for the Penang region. Provide regular service and support to SME banking customers. Work closely with CBBC Centers, Commercial Banking, and Transactional Banking Units across the Northern Region. Drive business opportunities through referrals from bankers. Support and guide a pool of commercial agents to help them achieve business targets. Recruit new agencies to strengthen the distribution network. What we’re looking for Degree or professional qualification in business, finance, or related fields. Strong business development, relationship management, and communication skills. Experience in insurance, bancassurance, or related financial services is an advantage. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage regional responsibilities.
