Title: Online Training Business Development Manager, SSON Research & Analytics
Salary: £ 35,000 – £ 40,000 annual base plus high commission earnings potential
Location: London, Victoria (Hybrid, three days in office)
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for securing new business for SSON’s Global Business Services (GBS) training and certification program. The Sales Executive will be responsible for sourcing prospects, following up on marketing generated leads, holding discovery calls, educating prospects on the benefits of industry certification, and closing new business.

Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing relationships with shared services and global business services professionals, consultants and solution providers, educating them on the Global Business Services (GBS) Certification Program benefits and enrolment opportunities. You will be tasked with building a pipeline, securing new business and nurturing customer relationships. Specifically, the role requires:

  • Generating new revenue for SSON’s online training and certification program
  • Sourcing new prospects and following up on marketing generated leads to secure new individual and group training and certification bookings
  • Onboarding new students and maintaining consistent contact throughout their training experience
  • Liaising with SSON’s online training and certification delivery lead to inform on client technical needs and other support areas as needed
  • Collaborating with product development and marketing to inform on feedback, lead generation and overall campaign success
  • Maintaining consistent communication with past students to obtain success stories, referrals, and to secure larger group bookings

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE IS ENERGETIC, ENTHUSIASTIC, MOTIVATED, RESULTS FOCUSED AND ORGANIZED.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-2 years B2B Sales experience
  • Experience managing a pipeline of prospects
  • Professional with good communications skills, and the confidence to converse with senior decision makers
  • High level of self-motivation and a strong work ethic
  • Must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • General office technology skills required (PC, Microsoft Outlook, CRM, LinkedIn)
