About the Role In this full-time, Monday to Friday role, you will work alongside a fun and experienced team as a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies, and building strong relationships with customers in your territory spanning Central Melbourne Metropolitan area. Responsibilities Take full ownership of your region, driving revenue and GP targets through a clear, actionable regional sales plan aligned to state growth goals Generate leads, pursue and secure new business opportunities across key industry sectors, expanding your customer base Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customers at all levels, delivering a WOW customer experience every time through regular visits, presentations, and demonstrations Act as the key point of contact for major projects, tenders, and supplier agreements, ensuring seamless execution and alignment Track, analyse, and report on sales activity and performance metrics to drive visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues promptly and maintain high service levels, while conducting regular reviews with key customers to ensure satisfaction and alignment Requirements Proven sales experience driving business development and growth, ideally within construction, civil, or infrastructure sectors Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Highly organised with strong planning and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and sales activities effectively Commercially astute and confident managing the full sales cycle, from qualifying opportunities through to conversion and account growth Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work autonomously in remote environments, leveraging CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipeline and performance Benefits People enjoy working at Jaybro because of the supportive, customer-first culture where teamwork, accountability and growth are genuinely valued.
