Description

To drive business growth and revenue generation for the company’s online training and e-learning programs. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and expanding market presence in the targeted market segments. The Business Development Manager will also manage key touch points of clients/students training programs. The role entails developing strategic partnerships and tailor solutions that meet the evolving training and development needs of corporate and professional clients/students.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve growth targets in focused markets and customer segments.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by targeting businesses, corporations and professional student segments.
  • Effectively utilize multilingual communication skills, cross-cultural sensitivity, and prior experience in managing relationships and stakeholders to support a diverse client base (corporate/students), with specific emphasis on familiarity with Gulf-region educational and training expectations.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closure including ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • In relation to B2B business, establish and maintain long-term relationships including meetings with key stakeholders in target organisations such as CFOs, Finance Directors, Chief Internal Auditors, Taxation and L&D Managers.
  • Actively lead in the development of freelance tutors network and onboarding on KCOLLS including briefing on platform (EduDene.com, used by KCOLLS) procedures and quality standards.
  • Ensuring proper tracking and monthly periodic (weekly/monthly) reporting on sales performance and network development metrics, pipeline status, and forecasts to the CEO.
  • Organise and deliver online orientation sessions, student/corporate engagement events and feedback surveys to foster a supportive learning community.
  • Represent KCOLLS at relevant industry events, seminars, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and networking.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting, auditing, and taxation regulations impacting training demands.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of proven business development or sales experience in related tax and finance consulting services sector
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting, auditing, taxation, and finance industry practices, regulations, and related training needs
  • Demonstrated success in generating revenue and building client relationships
  • Experience with multilingual clientele specially in GCC market (strongly preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proactive and strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
  • Familiar with CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications
