JOB SUMMARY

The Role: Business Development Manager
Lesters, the large packaging specialists, have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join us. You’ll be responsible for identifying a network of business relationships to secure high-value opportunities within third-party logistics (3PL) and automotive sectors. You’ll play a key role in expanding our customer base and delivering growth by using your sales expertise and customer focus to promote Lesters’ industry-leading corrugated packaging solutions.
Knowledge of large-format corrugated packaging sales is advantageous, but not essential – if you’re a strong commercial operator with sector experience and a hunger to win, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, approach, and deliver new business opportunities in 3PL, automotive, and other key sectors.
  • Working alongside marketing to create digital campaigns driving lead generation for the chosen products, services and target markets.
  • Build a strong, qualified sales pipeline through market research, networking, and outbound activity.
  • Working with clients to deliver tailored packaging solutions in collaboration with our in-house design, production, and operations teams.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract close and ongoing account management.
  • Stay up to date with market trends and commercialdrivers ensuring Lesters continue to lead the market in terms of knowledge and creating value for our customers.
  • Report regularly on activity, pipeline, and performance to the senior leadership team and owning and delivering your NBD Strategy.
  • Building Lesters profile through various marketing platform such as LinkedIn and various trade associations we are aligned with.
