LMD Vacuum Excavation is the fastest growing vacuum excavation company in the UK. It is spending millions of pounds extending and diversifying its fleet and its maintenance facilities.
Now, LMD is seeking to appoint a dynamic and creative Business Development Manager to translate this investment into new clients and new contracts. Are you up for the challenge?
As an integral part of the Management Team, you will report directly to the Managing Director. You will work with the Managing Director to agree strategy and targets. Your goal is to expand LMD Vacuum Excavation’s current markets by researching markets, identifying new business opportunities and creating strategies. You will be part of our sales force and will often lead a business development team working with Sales Managers, who oversees the sales of products or services to customers and sales teams. Your working day will combine office working, site visits, meetings with new, prospective and existing clients.
Experience of business development into the construction industry would be beneficial, but not essential. What is essential is drive, initiative and strategy. You will have a track record of success, demonstrate an ability to build strong long-term relationships and be able to negotiate effectively with senior executives.
There is considerable scope for further progression within the company as it continues to grow.
