  • Business Development Manager – VisionBusiness Development Manager – Vehicle Inspection Services (VIS)

  • In both roles, you will be at the forefront of identifying opportunities, building relationships, and securing contracts that help our members and non-members optimise their operations. You will be instrumental in achieving ambitious revenue and margin targets while shaping the future of Logistics UK’s services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated track record of success in a business development or sales role, showcasing the ability to meet and exceed targets consistently and effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, empowering you to clearly convey ideas and engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels, from entry-level professionals to senior executives.
  • A strong customer-focused mindset that enables you to identify and understand the unique needs of clients, allowing you to provide tailored solutions that directly address their specific requirements.
  • Outstanding organisational skills, which facilitate the management of multiple opportunities and competing priorities simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and objectives achieved.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to achieving both team and individual goals, fostering an environment of teamwork and shared success within the workplace.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to building relationships and exploring opportunities on a national scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify opportunities and build strong pipelines to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless contract delivery aligned with customer needs.
  • Represent Logistics UK at industry events, trade shows, and seminars.
  • Provide market insights to refine services and strengthen our competitive edge.
  • Deliver exceptional presentations and proposals to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Secure new contracts, achieve sales targets, and exceed revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with operations and development teams to ensure seamless delivery of contracts aligned with member needs.
