A curriculum vitae for used vehicles to solve the asymmetric information problem in the used car market. Our customers access an extensive multinational database consisting of +38 billion historical records related to over 1 billion cars in +21 countries across Europe and North America. Today, we are a team of +100 people in six European countries – who work together on one common vision: “A fair used car market for everyone.” To put this vision into reality, we are looking for a Business Development Manager in or around Munich to identify, contact and negotiate agreements in the automotive industry sector (B2B) with a specific focus on the Car Dealer vertical. The objective is to increase the visibility and penetration of CARFAX in the German market. Your role: Identify potential partners and opportunities in the B2B business, secure meetings with them and introduce the CARFAX models, services & value propositions Support the growing demand from Car Dealers and cooperate closely with our central functions to drive growth in this segment Implement our wholesale-/ reseller strategy to assure convenient access to our core product, the Vehicle History Reports Negotiate contract terms that protect and grow the products, financial interests and resources of CARFAX Work closely with our Business Development teams in other European markets Represent CARFAX at various local conferences Your profile Your profile: 5+ years of relevant job experience in Sales/Business Development Experience working in an automotive related branch Product Management and high-level negotiating experience Output driven, results oriented and hands-on working style Strong communicator and proactive approach Excellent language skills in German and English Ability and desire to work in an international team Ability to travel as required by the position (up to 50%) Why us?
