Macildowie are working with a client based in Nottingham to recruit an ambitious Business Development Manager to join their growing team as maternity cover.

Working as part of a supportive and high-performing team, you'll play a key role in expanding relationships with financial advisers, generating new business and contributing to the continued growth of the organisation.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisers across your allocated region.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities through proactive outbound sales activity.
• Managing a high volume of telephone-based business development, alongside virtual and face-to-face meetings.
• Making outbound calls to prospective clients and following up marketing-generated leads.
• Booking qualified meetings for Senior Business Development Managers.
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout every interaction.
• Keeping Salesforce CRM updated with all customer activity, opportunities and pipeline information.
• Using sales data and performance insights to maximise productivity and conversion rates.
• Maintaining an excellent understanding of market trends, products and regulatory requirements.
• Achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.

• Organised with strong attention to detail.
• Experienced in business development, sales or account management.
• Familiar with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce (desirable).
