Description

Manpower is seeking a highly motivated and talented Business Development Manager to join our team. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships. This position involves a combination of remote work for research and appointment setting, as well as field work to meet prospects and clients, attend networking events, and participate in human resource events. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Palm Beach County area, along with knowledge of the companies operating within the region. You will collaborate with a team of recruiters and work alongside other experienced business development managers on the Treasure Coast. Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients within the designated territory (Palm Beach County) by conducting market research and utilizing various lead generation techniques.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize account growth and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations with prospects and clients to understand their staffing needs and promote Manpower’s services.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to ensure efficient and successful placement of qualified candidates.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Attend networking events, industry conferences, and community gatherings to expand professional networks and generate leads.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and changes in the job market to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and presentations to potential clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular reports and maintain accurate sales records using CRM software.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or account management roles, preferably in the staffing or recruitment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the local business landscape.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with a passion for sales and business development.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, opportunities, and client relationships.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field visits and client meetings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
