Responsibilities

Strategic Opportunity Identification & Acquisition:

  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities across various project types, including tenders, renovation projects, and private contracts, for both the supply and installation of marble, granite, and tiles.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to engage potential clients and secure new projects. This includes preparing compelling proposals, conducting persuasive presentations, and expertly negotiating contracts to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Relationship Building & Market Penetration:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with critical decision-makers within the construction and design industries, including developers, architects, interior design (ID) firms, and main contractors. This involves understanding their specific needs, providing tailored solutions, and consistently delivering exceptional service.
  • Actively represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and on-site visits to enhance brand visibility, build rapport, and gather crucial market intelligence.

Strategic Planning & Growth Initiatives

  • Collaborate closely with the company director to formulate and execute impactful short-term and long-term expansion strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging opportunities for new service lines, project types, and market segments (e.g., high-end residential, hospitality, retail).
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to monitor industry trends and competitor activities, ensuring the company maintains a competitive edge.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, onboard, and oversee a high-performing team of sales and project executives as the company scales.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance team capabilities in client communication, sales techniques, product knowledge, and professional conduct.
  • Foster a results-driven environment by establishing clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), setting ambitious goals, and providing continuous coaching.

Seamless Project Delivery & Client Satisfaction:

  • Orchestrate effective collaboration with internal operations, procurement, and project management teams to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow from initial sales engagement through to project completion and handover.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, translating client requirements and ensuring that all project deliverables align with agreed-upon specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Proactively address and resolve any challenges or issues that arise during the project lifecycle, guaranteeing client needs are met and expectations are consistently exceeded, fostering long-term relationships and repeat business.

Driving Sales Efficiency & Strengthening Brand Presence

  • Collaborate strategically with the marketing department to develop and execute integrated campaigns that boost brand awareness, generate high-quality leads, and support sales initiatives across various channels (e.g., marketing, industry events, public relations).
  • Drive continuous improvement of sales systems and processes, including enhancing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tracking, streamlining sales funnels, and implementing effective client feedback mechanisms to gain insights, identify areas for improvement, and optimize the overall sales journey.
  • Leverage technology and data analytics to refine sales strategies, forecast demand, and ensure an efficient, scalable, and client-centric approach to market engagement.
