SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have: 5–7+ yrs US medical sales experience (PPE/medical devices or closely related) with an established book of business.
  • Consistent quota attainment; strong hunter mindset; executive presence and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of US healthcare procurement (GPOs, IDNs, distributor channels).
  • Proficient MS Office; Salesforce (or similar) CRM.
  • Valid driver’s license; able to travel; background/security checks as required.
  • US-based preferred; Canada-based candidates must have proven US selling experience.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Vitacore seeks a customer-focused, entrepreneurial BDM with 5+ years in medical sales to drive new revenue across North American healthcare—US-led, with Canadian growth. You’ll expand our customer and distribution base for PPE and upcoming new-to-market materials, leveraging an existing book of business (IDNs, GPOs, hospitals, distributors) to build and convert pipeline, lead demos/pilots, and navigate procurement/contracting to close. Partner with Marketing to tell a compelling story around highly accredited, Canadian-made PPE and our industry-leading PPE recycling solutions, then hand off closed-won accounts cleanly to Senior Account Managers for expansion. Travel to customers, tradeshows, and industry events is expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Own full-cycle new business in US medical markets: prospect, qualify, solution, propose, close.
  • Leverage network with IDNs/GPOs/distributors; collaborate with Distribution reps to expand reach.
  • Stand up pipeline for launches; craft messaging with Marketing; coordinate demos, trials, and evaluations.
  • Navigate procurement/contracting and compliance; coordinate with Quality/Regulatory on claims/approvals.
  • Maintain CRM discipline (forecasting, territory/monthly analysis, reporting); manage territory like a business.
  • Represent Vitacore professionally; respond rapidly to client needs; assist with orders as needed.
  • Transition accounts to Senior Account Managers with clear onboarding/expansion plans; travel and tradeshows as required.
