JOB SUMMARY:

Klass Education is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead the growth and expansion of its innovative edtech solutions across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. The ideal candidate will drive sales, build strategic partnerships, and ensure market penetration while maintaining strong relationships with educational institutions, corporate clients, and channel partners.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education Technology, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the edtech or technology sector.
  • Regional Expertise: Proven track record of managing clients and partners in the Middle East and Africa, with a deep understanding of the region’s education and corporate training landscape.
  • Skills:
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, especially VR, AR, LMS, and interactive learning tools, is a plus.
  • Language: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic or French is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Development:
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy for the MEA region to achieve sales targets for Klass Education’s product portfolio.
  • Identify and explore new markets, trends, and opportunities within K-12 schools, higher education institutions, training centers, and corporate sectors.
  • Establish relationships with distributors, resellers, and system integrators to expand regional reach.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth:
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by acquiring new clients and growing existing accounts.
  • Create tailored proposals and presentations to showcase the value of Klass Education solutions for various audiences, including educators, administrators, and corporate decision-makers.
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles, including prospecting, negotiations, closing deals, and post-sales follow-ups.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify gaps and refine product positioning.
  • Provide regular feedback to product and marketing teams to improve offerings and ensure alignment with regional demand.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders in the education and corporate sectors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Product Expertise and Training:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Klass Education’s solutions, including VR platforms, whiteboard applications, LMS, and custom content services.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for potential and existing clients.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure successful execution of projects and campaigns.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market insights to management.
