QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Marketing, Business Management)

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the motor vehicle industry.
  • Must have a proven track record in client-facing new business acquisitions.
  • Experience dealing with motor dealerships will be advantageous
  • Must have - own vehicle and license
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This is a b2b role where engagement with distributors will be face-to-face.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is committed, driven, results-oriented, who is able to work on their own as well as in a team environment writing business in accordance with targets laid down by Management.

  • The incumbent will be responsible for the development of new business and will be required to maximize sales performance to achieve set targets defined by the business
  • Development of new business
  • Achievement of defined volume target for sales.
  • Using a network of contact with motor dealers, generate a portfolio of new prospects for the development of new business.
  • Provide regular reporting to management of new business generated ongoing prospects currently in development.
  • Achieve agreed rate/ profitability targets
  • Act as a contact point to address issues of customer services with dealer clients.
  • Work with the dealer-based regional managers to provide support and training to dealers.

  • Source and develop new business opportunities (new business acquisition)
  • Cold calling, networking, and lead generation
  • Administration of client information.
