To learn more about Rig Technologies products and services, please visit us at https://www.nov.com/about/our-company-structure/rig Responsibility The Business Development Manager is responsible for promoting and selling Aftermarket products and services on behalf of the Aftermarket Business Units across all Marine & Construction Centers of Excellence. The role focuses on customer engagement, market monitoring, and identifying growth opportunities while working closely with the Global Business Development team and Aftermarket Business Units to achieve strategic and financial objectives. Duties Key Responsibilities Proactively engage with customers and follow up on sales and service activities. Identify and maintain a regional list of vessels and customers and report relevant market intelligence. Track, monitor, and report performance against predefined KPIs. Identify potential capital sales opportunities and coordinate closely with the Marine & Construction Capital Sales team to support customer pursuits. Act as the primary point of contact for customers by building strong relationships, understanding their needs, and identifying new business opportunities. Promote and sell Marine & Construction Aftermarket products and services, including core (“bread and butter”) items and commodities. Present quotations prepared by Aftermarket Centers of Excellence, follow up with customers, and forward received purchase orders for execution. Collaborate closely with Regional Aftermarket organizations and Centers of Excellence to meet and exceed customer expectations. Report on customer challenges, market trends, and forecasts for planned and potential activities. Provide day-to-day customer support, understand customer assets and objectives, and develop long-term business opportunities. Participate in and/or provide input to P&L planning processes (AFP, MYP, or as required). Candidate Profile & Skills Basic technical understanding of products and services. Minimum 5 years of experience with NOV products or similar technologies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a diplomatic approach. Proactive, goal-oriented, and self-driven mindset. Strong team player with a high level of integrity and trustworthiness. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Ability to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.
