BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

National Salvage is seeking a Business Development Manager to not only grow our existing markets, but expand into new markets, regions, and territories. National Salvage is a specialty contractor looking for an individual with experience in industrial sales or a background with large general contractors or engineering firms. The perfect candidate is persistent and not afraid to call on large industrial client projects.

MININMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors’ degree in business, marketing, or comparable experience
  • Minimum of 10 years sales experience. Industrial Sales and construction experience a plus
  • Proven track record of generating and closing qualified leads
  • Strong proficiency with computers and CRMs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Respectful of a diverse team

Responsibilities
  • Drive results through innovation and vision
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, environmental consultants and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to develop competitive bids and pricing strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company goals and compliance standards.
  • Regularly meeting and proactively establishing relationships with new groups
  • Manage multiple priorities through a variety of activities which are dynamic and changing
  • Make connections with people, motivating and inspiring them to follow your lead
  • Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.
