About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Logistics Coordinator with a strong background in the healthcare or hospital industry to manage procurement, sourcing, inventory, and international logistics activities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience procuring medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, consumables, and other hospital requirements, along with strong vendor and logistics coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics and procurement activities for medical, pharmaceutical, and hospital supplies.
• Source and evaluate suppliers locally and internationally.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure competitive purchasing.
• Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier documentation.
• Coordinate the import, export, shipment, and delivery of healthcare supplies and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical medical supplies.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to understand procurement requirements and priorities.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, and logistics partners.
• Track shipments and resolve delays, shortages, damages, or other supply issues.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable healthcare/regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, supplier, and logistics records.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Support stock control, warehouse coordination, and proper storage of medical supplies.
• Prepare procurement and logistics reports for management.
• Proactively identify supply-chain risks and develop practical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement and logistics, preferably within a hospital, healthcare, medical center, pharmaceutical, or medical supplies environment.
• Strong knowledge of medical supplies, healthcare consumables, equipment, and hospital procurement processes.
• Experience with international sourcing, shipping, freight forwarding, import/export, and customs documentation is highly preferred.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory and stock management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/inventory management systems
