ABOUT THE COMPANY

United Food Truck (UFT) is a leader in the manufacturing of custom food trucks, concession trailers, and containers in the United States. With over 10 years in the market, we stand out for innovation, quality, and customer commitment.
We are launching a new business unit in the metalworking and industrial sector, initially focused in Florida with a national expansion plan.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join from the very beginning of this strategic project. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and executing the business plan for the new unit: from identifying international suppliers to opening and consolidating the U.S. market.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, or related fields.
  • Full proficiency in English and Spanish (oral and written). Both languages will be used daily in negotiations, documentation, and commercial management.
  • Proven experience in business development, imports, international purchasing, or B2B sales (ideally in metalworking or industrial materials).
  • Knowledge of international supplier negotiations, imports, and logistics.
  • Ability to conduct market research and design commercial strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with autonomy and results orientation.
  • Availability for occasional travel within and outside the U.S.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the business plan for the new unit.
  • Identify and negotiate with international suppliers of industrial/metalworking materials.
  • Conduct market research in Florida and later in other states.
  • Define commercial strategy, pricing, and value proposition.
  • Build and manage relationships with B2B clients in the industrial sector.
  • Lead the sales process and expansion of the unit.
  • Report progress and results to executive management.
