As part of the development of our brand Enix Power Solutions, we are looking for a Technical business development manager - Account manager based in Solihull. Enix Power Solutions is specialized in the design and production of custom batteries. We produce battery packs for industrial applications, drones, robotics, instrumentation, and home automation.

PROFILE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Ideally, a dual background in electrical/electrotechnical engineering and business.
  • If not, a minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales in a technical industrial environment (customized equipment, technical components, etc.).
  • Strong business development mindset and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Resilience, tenacity, and organization are essential for managing long sales cycles.
  • Technical curiosity, both regarding developments in cells, accumulators, batteries, battery packs, and control electronics, as well as customer applications.
  • Versatile: able to handle prospecting, account management, customer follow-up, and administrative duties.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a good ability to listen.
  • Proficiency in IT tools.
Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for daily customer relations, with the following main missions:

  • Develop the brand in the UK, with potential expansion to a broader scope.
  • Manage an existing B2B client portfolio, including SMEs, mid-sized companies, and key accounts. Ensure regular follow-up and maintain customer loyalty.
  • Prospect and develop new accounts while ensuring customer relationship management.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle (long sales cycles), including identifying needs, passing on information to the technical departments, presenting and monitoring the offer, negotiating and selling.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical, purchasing, workshop, and production teams.
  • Represent the brand at 2 to 3 major trade fairs or exhibitions per year and undertake occasional business travels to meet key client accounts or visiting the french team.
