OMS is an fast-growing, dynamic training and consultancy company, based in Leicestershire, with clients throughout the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Development Executive to join our growing team, who are passionate about making a difference to our clients. Working alongside our Head of Business Development, you will be part of a small, conscientious team, working on the acquisition and development of new business, both locally and nationally, through prospecting and conversion activities, whilst contributing to the overall development of our Sales & Marketing strategy and campaigns.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Passionate about new business/prospecting.
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to develop both internal and external relationships
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Persistent, but respectful, in nature.
  • 2+ years proven experience of B2B sales.
  • Commercial awareness.
Responsibilities
  • To bring in new business / sales for the organisation for both our Training Business.
  • To ensure all are carried forward to completion, either won or lost.
  • To attend and contribute to sales meetings, sharing ideas and experience, and sales planning activities for future periods.
  • To increase sales revenue, year on year, in line with your own set targets.
  • To price up work and develop engaging and informative quotations/proposals.
  • To attend client meetings.
  • To submit monthly sales reports to the Head of Learning & Business Development and include details of new business won, sales pipeline and potential new opportunities.
  • To attend trade fayres and other expos to promote OMS.
  • To develop a detailed understanding of OMS products and present on these, when required.
  • To profile organisations and individuals, through networking and social media.
  • To uncover and explore new opportunities across new channels to increase market share.
  • Targets - To work towards training sales delivered in month targets (Every month)
  • Forecasting sales work (month by month and annually)
