JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a European Business Development Manager, you’ll be shaping our entire European growth strategy, with total autonomy to hunt, pitch, and close across a wide, high-potential region.
As a new branch of One World Rental, this role is crucial to grow the region. This role is an 100% outbound role – no reactive leads, no hand-holding – just pure business development for someone who thrives on winning new business and building something extraordinary from the ground up.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably as an Business Development Manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships.
  • Experience in IT/Technology sales.
  • Events Industry experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent telephone and direct sales skills.
  • Candidate must be native or fluent in Dutch & Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
  • Develop new client relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create customised solutions that meet client needs.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the deal.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and goals on a consistent basis.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and performance.
  • Research prospective clients through various resources, including trade press, local media, websites, and internal databases.
  • Attend networking and client events to increase brand awareness and foster growing client relationships within the region.
  • Update and input records on CRM systems, adhering to SOPs and producing accurate pipeline and sales reports.
  • Demonstrate a positive and fearless attitude, with strong communication skills over the telephone.
  • Work collaboratively as a team member and independently, showcasing strong IT skills.
  • Understand IT products and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Be self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to contribute to the company’s growth.
