Business Development Manager Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Work Mode: Hybrid Employment type: Permanent Our client is a global technology service provider that helps organizations succeed in a digital-first world. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager (Microsoft Cloud) to drive the growth of our Microsoft Cloud business by acquiring new customers, developing key partnerships, and accelerating cloud solution opportunities across the region. Responsibilities Drive business development strategies and activities to support revenue growth and expand Microsoft Cloud solutions across Asian markets. Identify and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with sales, solutions, and marketing teams. Engage with customers to understand their cloud and digital transformation priorities, IT strategies, and business objectives. Design solution strategies and implementation approaches aligned with Logicalis' offerings. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, building long-term relationships and understanding their business and technology needs. Support achievement of sales quotas through strategic customer engagement and effective solution positioning. Represent Microsoft as a key cloud partner within Logicalis and contribute to internal strategy development for partnership success. Share insights on customer, market, industry, and technology trends with internal teams. Build and nurture relationships with Microsoft and other ecosystem partners to drive joint demand generation. Plan and execute sales, consumption, and sell-through of Logicalis cloud solutions and services. Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams on account planning, customer profiling, bid support, proposals, and presentations. Support strategic deal closure in partnership with regional and global teams. Requirements Must-have: Minimum 10 years of experience in consultative selling and business development of cloud solutions and services. Experience in customer-facing and partner-facing roles within the Microsoft ecosystem. Experience managing Microsoft partner programs, tools, and incentives. Strong track record of achieving or exceeding cloud sales quotas and business targets. Proven ability to build relationships with senior C-level stakeholders. Experience identifying, leading, and executing new business development initiatives with a customer-centric approach. Ability to deliver results in a matrix organization by working across multiple functions and teams. Strong understanding of large-scale cloud initiatives and infrastructure projects. Knowledge of Microsoft Partner ecosystems and ability to leverage Microsoft programs and solutions to address customer needs. Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing models, including EA and CSP. Experience working with Microsoft or a systems integrator partner. Nice-to-have: Microsoft professional certifications across Azure, Security, AI, and Microsoft 365. Good understanding of hyperscaler ecosystems such as AWS, GCP, and other cloud platforms. Experience working with cloud computing technologies and cloud solution providers beyond Microsoft.
