Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Paints & Coatings will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new commercial business opportunities within the North America industrial infrastructure manufacturing, marine, and advanced manufacturing markets. As an Industrial Coating and Lining Application Expert, this role will be expected to not only be the key person for business development for coatings but will be essential to all coating projects involving the application of protective coatings for steel (metal products). This role combines technical understanding of coatings applications with strong commercial skills to drive market share growth, develop key customer relationships, and deliver revenue targets in line with the company’s strategic objectives.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent years of experience listed below

EXPERIENCE

· Direct experience with sales of coating services and be able to bring potential customers to Ljungstrom
· Proven track record of growing sales and managing key accounts in B2B industrial markets.
· Minimum 5–7 years of experience advanced knowledge of a range of national and international standards related to corrosion control, surface preparation, coating application, and inspection
Minimum 5-7 years of experience working in industrial and/or advanced manufacturing.

SKILLS

· NACE III or equivalent certification
· Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
· Ability to develop strategic business plans and execute them effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
