Overview Regional Sales Manager will manage the goal-oriented Correspondent Sales team and the sales function in the Division (or a specific geographic area, as determined by the Director-Correspondent Lending). The Vice President of Correspondent Sales Manager will also be primarily responsible for the following: recruiting, hiring, and training sales team; originating quality loans that sell – personal production; developing and ensuring continuance of good relationships with established brokers and customers. The duties for Vice President of Correspondent Sales Manager include, but are not limited to, those described below. Responsibilities Prime Directive: Regardless of your position, your principal function is to help this Company find, serve and keep profitable customers. Essential Job Functions: Organization: Develops and implements relationship strategies for selling services, satisfying customer needs through a full array of products and services. Coordination: Utilizes business development skills to establish new business maintaining a structured, consistent and established training program. Training: Establishes and maintains a professional, trained and motivated staff through effective implementation of defined performance objectives and career-development programs. Equipment: Uses such office equipment as computer terminals, copiers and FAX machines. Physical: Sits for extended time periods. Hearing and vision within normal ranges. Responsibilities: Exercise administrative control over sales function of Sales Team. Assume leadership role among Sales Team. Coach, motivate and support Sales Team to ensure growth and profitability; defining expected production goals for each Team Member and ensuring adequate working knowledge of FastTrack 360 LOS. Assist Director-Correspondent Lending in planning and implementation of new sales and marketing programs. Provide present and potential brokers/sources with superior level of customer service. Responsible for development of new business and strengthening of existing relationships by: Determining a prospect’s needs and selling appropriate product; selling loans for appropriate amounts, rates and terms that comply with PRMG’s program guidelines Maintains working knowledge of federal, state and local governments’ and private investors’ policies and guidelines. Maintains strong familiarity with current trends in the real estate and mortgage banking industries as well as the company’s operating policies and procedures. Formalizes sales strategies, forecasts and reports as necessary. Creates/maintains synergy with Corporate departments. Assists in maintaining a below-industry average loan delinquency and default rate. Qualifications Experience: Two years or more of management experience in mortgage operations preferred. Minimum three years of related experience within the mortgage industry. Skills: Lead or supervisory skills. Strong interpersonal-communication and business-relationship skills. Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills. Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Technologically proficient in MS Windows software.
