SUMMARY
The Business Development (BD) Manager is primarily responsible for new member acquisition and growth, enhancing community and Select Employee (SEG) relationships for Partnership Financial Credit Union (PFCU). The Business Development Manager will foster and develop strong, sustainable relationships within the communities and SEG’s we serve while enhancing the credit union’s viability and brand awareness. Leads the development and execution of strategic activities to forge new business relationships to increase membership and influence growth among organizations and communities.
The Business Development Manager reports to the Chief Operations & Strategy Officer (COSO). The Business Development Manager must be professional, sales and goal-orientated and prepared to take ownership of PFCU’s overall business development goals. The BD Manager works closely with the management team and collaborates with Marketing to develop a strategic business plan and targeted sales initiatives. Leads, directs and partners with office leads and staff to enhance efforts by creating and implementing sales action plans to ensure growth goals are met.

The Business Development Manager performs a major portion of his/her duties through verbal and written communications. It is critical that s/he possess the ability to communicate with clarity, while understanding and explaining complex situations to team members and outside contacts. Accuracy is essential and s/he must possess the ability to proofread documentation and correspondence to insure free of errors and fraud. The person will spend a good portion of the day seated at a workstation, but may also be mobile throughout the credit union for
purposes of meetings, working with others, etc. S/he must have the ability to lift, move or transport working material and collateral. Ability to lift, move and/or transport 50 pounds or more
