We’re looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our Pharma QC laboratory services at SGS lab Simon within the Drug Development segment in Europe. Job Description BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER PHARMA Your mission: As our Business Development Manager, you'll report to the Head of Business Development. You’ll be the driving force behind identifying and securing new business opportunities in the (bio)pharmaceutical sector. You’ll build strong relationships, close impactful deals, and help shape the future of SGS lab Simon . This function will focus on our operations in Wavre, Belgium: Prospect new customers and develop new opportunities with existing clients in Europe Negotiate contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business Lead important new/strategic projects and act as the “reference person” Align client needs with our services and support cross functional opportunities Represent the SGS Pharma laboratory services in conventions, exhibitions, professional associations (etc.) and build key partnerships Stay ahead of market trends and translate insights into strategies Update and maintain our customer data in the CRM to fuel future growth Qualifications Your profile : A bachelor’s or master’s degree in pharma, sciences or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in sales or business development within the Pharma industry for small and/or large molecules Solid knowledge of the activities of a laboratory in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry Good understanding of the regulatory QC requirements (GMP, FDA) You are ideally based in Belgium or the Netherlands Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Dutch A collaborative spirit, a friendly attitude, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
