Description

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Business Development Manager will represent a portfolio of major plumbing and HVAC/hydronics lines to engineering and design professionals, facility managers, wholesale distributors, and mechanical contractors in the Northern Ohio area.
Working within a team framework with abundant resources, you will be the primary strategic driver of business-building relationships in your market, be responsible for managing growth on existing accounts, while continuously pursuing new opportunities.
Preferred candidates are currently engaged in an outside sales position within the industry, or engineering professionals seeking a pivot into a high-earning sales role. This is a full-time, primarily remote position based in the greater Cleveland, OH area. Less than 10% overnight travel required.
Founded in 1991, Pinnacle Sales represents world-class manufacturers through the sales and marketing of plumbing and heating products to wholesale distributors and contractors throughout Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Upstate New York. Pinnacle Sales offers an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP).

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years of sales and/or design experience in the plumbing and mechanical industry
  • Prior experience working with specifying engineers or calling on wholesale distributors and/or mechanical contractors in a sales-related capacity
  • Eagerness to cold-call and prospect
  • High standards of integrity and willingness to provide after-the-sale support to customers
  • The confidence to speak and present to small groups, lead technical demonstrations, and provide training to customers and partners
  • Must currently live in the Greater Cleveland area, or be willing to relocate thereto
  • The ability to travel out of state when required for training
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
