THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re expanding our footprint in the Humberside region and are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. Working closely with our well-established Hull branch, you will play a key role in driving sales, building relationships, and supporting clients with technically sound solutions.

AS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, YOUR ROLE IS TO DRIVE BUSINESS GROWTH IN YOUR AREA THROUGH:

· Identifying your target customers and creating sales opportunities
· Visiting existing and prospect clients and building positive relationships
· Liaising with colleagues to develop sales strategies
· Attending events such as networking, conferences and trade fairs
· Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings
· Preparing financial projections and delivering sales targets
· Understanding the full product range and service offerings and creating valued added opportunities with customers
· Liaising with our technical support division to maximise sales opportunities

TO SECURE THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

· Experience of hire and sales within the construction or utilities sector and knowledge of survey or technical safety equipment would be preferred.
· A positive, self-motivated attitude and the ability to work within a fast-paced team is essential.
· Superb organisation skills
· Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Full clean drivers’ licence
SALARY RANGE: £30-£40K depending on experience and suitability (+ up to £9k commission)

HOURS: Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.30pm
ANNUAL LEAVE: 25 days plus bank holidays
PENSION: Contribution to a pension in line with mandatory government workplace pension scheme
