Preventt is a fast-growing fire safety compliance company specialising in passive fire inspections for clients across the UK. We work with property managers, hotel groups, social housing providers, and commercial real estate clients to ensure fire door safety through inspections, reporting, and digital asset tracking.
As we expand our national footprint, we’re looking for a commercially mindedBusiness Development Manager to lead our revenue growth strategy - identifying new business opportunities, and securing new contracts across our target sectors.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a dynamic, client-facing sales role focused on expanding Preventt’s market share and building long-term, strategic relationships. The successful candidate will work closely with the Directors to shape business development strategy, lead on tender and renewal conversations, and act as a key driver of commercial growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, qualify, and close new commercial opportunities with property managers, facilities companies, housing associations, and asset managers.
  • Build strong relationships with existing clients to support renewals, upsells, and expansion of services.
  • Support bid writing, proposal generation, and pricing for new and repeat work.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and sales reporting.
  • Represent Preventt professionally in meetings, events, and industry forums, helping position the business as a trusted compliance partner.
