JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving growth within the organisation. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a proven track record in sales and business development.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
  • Proficiency in using software tools, particularly, Hubspot for tracking leads and managing client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

Business Development building the Riverhouse and membership community via strategic proactive sales, and content. To promote and sell Membership and event space for The Bingham Riverhouse

  • Membership Recruitment & maintenance
  • Proactively recruit members & corporate business for the Riverhouse and bhuti from internal leads across all parts of the business and outbound activity
  • Network in the relevant, local and wider communities to build membership.
  • Work with Head of Sales to identify gaps in sales and marketing opportunities
  • Develop a membership CRM together with the Head of Sales.
  • Create leads to increase membership and corporate sales in line with budgets and KPI’s.
  • Act as an ambassador getting to know members and build the community informally and via regular events.
  • Work with Head of Membership & Head of Sales to build members events in line with the marketing strategy, Riverhouse mission and values
  • Competitor research awareness for membership, corporate and wellbeing scene and our competitors through regularly reading Club reviews and networking with industry peers.
  • Sharing information on relevant information on rates, packages, facilities and services to actively promote Riverhouse and bhuti
  • Foster good working relationships in all departments in order to encourage interdepartmental support, creative thinking and ensure production and service standards are maintained
  • Ensure communication regarding membership is relayed internally to include training where required
  • Ensure that you provide guests, agents and clients with accurate and relevant information on rates, packages, facilities and services to actively promote the Club
  • Ensure all member, client and account data (including new profiles, profile notes and traces) are accurately maintained on the relevant platforms by the Membership team. Follow up on all applications and Handle membership queries promptly.
  • Sales to include Corporate sales, sales to existing members, and for all areas of the property where relevant. Cross-selling and upselling.
  • Handle any member / guest requests, complaints or feedback in a service-oriented manner, escalating any situations that you are unable to resolve with the General Manager.
